radiocommunication studies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They are normally convened every three or four years and may be associated in time and place with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.itu.int\/ITU-R\/go\/wrc\/en\">World Radiocommunication Conferences (WRCs)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Assemblies<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>assign conference preparatory work and other questions to the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.itu.int\/en\/ITU-R\/study-groups\">Study Groups<\/a>;<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>respond to other requests from ITU conferences;<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>suggest suitable topics for the agenda of future WRCs;<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>approve and issue&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.itu.int\/pub\/R-REC\/en\">ITU-R Recommendations<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.itu.int\/pub\/R-QUE\/en\">ITU-R Questions<\/a>&nbsp;developed by the Study Groups;<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>set the programme for Study Groups and disband or establish Study Groups according to need.\u200b<\/li>\n<\/div><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div
