Medical related issues
For any medical issues occurring at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC):
- a Medical Point at the conference venue is located in the concourse area near the entrance of the DWTC main security entrance at Za’abeel Hall 5.
- the Medical Point will be operated 18-hours a day and the schedule will adapt to the working hours of the RA-23, WRC-23, and CPM-27-1.
- An Ambulance and medical team are available 24h/7 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
While in the Conference venue
Admittance and Badging Requirements
Access to the venue, the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) Za’abeel Halls, will be strictly limited to persons wearing a Conference event badge with photograph.
All participants, including delegates, observers, media, ITU and DWTC staff, must present their conference event badge + carry a National ID or official travel document with a photo for secondary ID checks.
Security Measures
All participants will be security screened at dedicated access points to the DWTC Conference venue.
All participants will also have their conference event badge scanned at the security badge reader systems when entering/exiting the DWTC venue. This service will be continuous during the Conference.
Personal Belongings
Participants are reminded to safeguard their personal belongings at all times, both at the DWTC venue as well as in their official hotels.
Hand luggage permitted at the venue is limited to one [1] small briefcase per person. Larger items than cabin luggage size will not be permitted inside the DWTC venue.
Lost items / Security Incidents
All security incidents and lost and found inquiries during the event can be addressed to the Event Safety, Security, & Resilience Office located in the middle of the Za’abeel Hall 5 (between the 2 main plenary meeting rooms) of the DWTC venue. Tel. +41 79 715 8477 / Email: security@itu.int.
